PBS, the Performance Blogging System, was not something I understood overnight. There are a lot of ways to make money online. There are also a lot of people willing to tell you how easy it is.

That has never been my experience.

Building something online takes time. It takes learning new skills, trying things that do not always work, making changes, and sometimes staring at a computer screen wondering why something that worked yesterday has suddenly decided to rebel against you today. 😂

The Performance Blogging System introduced me to a different way of looking at online marketing. Instead of chasing one product, one trend, or one quick opportunity, I began learning how content, marketing, traffic, and different earning possibilities can connect through one website.

And yes, the website you are reading right now is my PBS.

It has changed a lot since I started. So have I.

Let me show you what Performance Blogging actually looks like from someone who is doing it.

What is PBS?

The easiest way to explain PBS is to show you what it looks like in real life.

You are already looking at one.

Bevy-Lieve It! is my PBS.

When I first started, I thought I was building a website and learning how to make money online. Sounds simple enough, right? 😂 What I did not understand yet was how much all the little things I was learning would eventually begin to connect.

A blog post is not always just a blog post. It can answer a question someone is searching for. It can introduce a product you actually use. It can lead someone to another page with more information. It can earn affiliate income. And, when a website qualifies and is approved, advertising may become another potential source of revenue.

That is where the Performance Blogging System comes in.

PBS teaches you to look at your website as more than a collection of pages. You begin learning why you are creating content, how people may find it, and what happens after they arrive.

I have learned about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), keywords, affiliate marketing, traffic, classified advertising, VMarketing, internal links, and even how building a presence on social media can help more people discover what I am creating. And that is only part of what I have learned along the way.

And trust me, I did not learn all of it in one day. 😂

PBS gave me a place to start learning. The rest has come from training, asking questions, making mistakes, changing things, continuing to show up, and becoming part of a beautiful community of people who share what they know and genuinely want to see each other grow.

That is Performance Blogging in real life.

So, How Does PBS Actually Work?

After watching the video, you may be thinking, Okay, but what would I actually be doing?

Fair question. I had the same one. 😂

PBS starts with a website, but the website is only part of what you are building. The training helps you learn how to use it, create content, and begin understanding how the different pieces of online marketing can work together.

Then comes the doing.

You learn how to create and build content around topics, products, services, and opportunities. You begin understanding how keywords can help people find your pages through search. You learn different ways to market your content and bring visitors to your website.

Along the way, you are introduced to affiliate marketing and other potential income streams that can become part of your PBS. Advertising may also become an option when your website meets the requirements of an advertising program and is approved.

And this is important: not everything happens at once.

My PBS did not become the website you are looking at today overnight. Pages have been rewritten. Images have changed. Entire sections have been reorganized. Some ideas worked. Others quietly went to the digital graveyard where they belonged. 😂

The more I learned, the more my website changed with me.

That is one of the things I appreciate about PBS. You are building something you can continue to learn from, work on, and grow over time.

You Are Not Expected to Figure It All Out Alone

One of the biggest things I have learned about building online is how quickly you can become overwhelmed.

There is always another term to learn, another tool to understand, or another question you did not even know you needed to ask. 😂 Sometimes you simply need someone who can say, “Here is what you need to work on next.”

That is where the training and community behind PBS have made such a difference for me.

I have access to training that has helped me learn everything from working on my website and creating content to marketing, advertising, and building my presence online. I can ask questions when I get stuck, learn from people who have already been doing this longer than I have, and continue adding new skills as I grow.

But the community has become just as important.

I have met some truly wonderful people through this journey. We share ideas. We celebrate wins. We help each other when something is not working. And sometimes, we simply remind one another to keep going when online marketing decides to rebel against us again. 😂

There is something powerful about learning alongside people who understand what you are trying to build.

For me, PBS has never been about being handed a website and left alone with it.

It has been about learning how to build something of my own while being surrounded by people who are willing to share what they know.

VMarketing: Connecting With Real People

VMarketing is another part of what I have been learning through the RRR247 Community, the online community connected with PBS.

And it is very different from sitting behind a computer writing blog posts.

Through marketing that is paid forward within the community, leads are generated from people who have shown an interest in learning more about making money online.

Then comes the human part.

We reach out by text, email, and phone. We introduce ourselves, start conversations, answer questions, and help people learn more about the online opportunities available through the community.

I will be the first to admit that this side of online marketing has pushed me outside my comfort zone. 😂 Picking up that 50-pound phone and talking to someone you have never met is a completely different skill from writing a page for your website.

But that is part of the learning too.

VMarketing has helped me understand that online marketing is not always about algorithms, keywords, and website traffic. Sometimes it is simply about connecting with a real person who asked for more information and being will to the conversation.

And yes, I am still learning.

That is one of the things I appreciate about the RRR247 Community. I am not expected to already know how to do everything before I begin. I learn, I practice, I get better, and then I keep going.

But How Can a PBS Make Money?

Let’s be real. You probably did not come to a page about building an online business because you were looking for a new way to fill your spare time. 😂

The income side matters.

A Performance Blogging System can be built around more that on potential source of income. Affiliate marketing is one example. When you create useful content and include a relevant affiliate link, you may earn a commission if someone makes a qualifying purchase through that link.

There are also products, services, and online opportunities that can become part of your content. Depending on what you choose to build around, your website may introduce readers to different businesses or programs you are connected with.

Advertising is another possibility. That is actually one of the goals I am working toward right not with Bevy-Lieve It! A website must meet the requirements of the advertising program and be approved, so simply owning a PBS does not automatically mean ads will start earning money.

And no, the money does not magically appear because you published three blog posts and made a cup of coffee. 😂

Traffic matters. Content matters. Marketing matters. Learning what people are searching for and what your audience is actually interested in matters.

That is why I look at my Performance Blogging System as something I am building, not a quick-income promise.

The possibilities are there. What you do with them is where the work begins.

Is Performance Blogging for Everyone?

No.

There, I said it. 😂

Performance Blogging is not for someone looking for a magic button, instant income, or a business that requires no effort. There is training to attend, information to learn, people to talk to, content to build, and marketing to do.

You also have to be willing to change.

I have changed the way I write. I have changed the way I look at my website. I have learned new technology, built a presence on social media, stepped outside my comfort zone with VMarketing, and rebuilt pages I once thought were perfectly fine.

Some of them were not perfectly fine. Trust me. 😂

Performance Blogging may be a good fit for someone who is curious, willing to learn, and ready to keep working even when everything does not click immediately. You do not need to walk in knowing SEO, affiliate marketing, website design, or how to pick up that 50-pound phone.

I certainly didn’t.

But you do need to be willing to learn, ask questions, practice, and show up.

Performance Blogging gave me a place to begin. What I build from here is still up to me.

What Does Paying It Forward Mean?

The idea of paying it forward is a big part of the RRR247 Community.

I have learned from people who were willing to share their time, experience, and knowledge with me. As I continue to learn and grow, the idea is that I can eventually do the same for someone else.

It is not about pretending to know everything.

Trust me, I am still asking questions. 😂 By the way, there are no silly questions, so don’t be afraid to speak up and ask.

It is about being willing to help someone who may be standing where you once stood. Maybe they are confused. Maybe they are overwhelmed. Maybe they are staring at a new PBS and wondering what in the world they just got themselves into.

I remember that feeling.

The community helped me take the next step. Paying if forward means being willing to reach back and help someone else take their next step.
